    As our Content Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving strategic marketing efforts for campaign development and deployment. You will work closely with members of the marketing team to devise and refine a web content strategy that aligns with our corporate SEO goals. The Content Marketing Specialist will be the point person for developing campaigns designed to drive leads, accelerate progress through the funnel and upsell our current customer base.

    We are a small marketing team, so there is plenty of opportunity to own new processes and see your contributions make a direct impact to the business.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Collaborate across multiple teams and experts to ensure development of a complete library of assets with the right mix of content types based on customer/buyer journey and personas.
    • Act as a writer, editor, and producer to create engaging content across channels (digital, social media, email, etc.)
    • Use data, research and other insights to deeply understand how to leverage all of our channels to create a content experience that is cohesive and effective.
    • Plan and manage content calendar along with marketing team colleagues that engages and grows our audience
    • Responsible for the structure, writing, design, implementation of all content assets such as advertising, infographics, corporate blogs, video, social media, how-to guides, white papers, optimized for SEO and designed stages of the buyer journey.
    • Write and create content on a daily basis.
    • Track and report on key performance metrics of campaigns to various stakeholders

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations)
    • A creative self-starter with a start-up mentality.
    • 2+ years (B2B experience preferred) as a writer, editor with record of success achieving revenue and positioning goals.
    • Exceptional writing skills and proven ability to communicate through written word, video, and design required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), social media, marketing and digital communications
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot or similar solutions is a plus.
    • InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a plus
    • Google AdWords and Facebook Blueprint certified is a plus
