    Agilence, Inc., ( is a rapidly-growing, venture-backed start-up company based in Mount Laurel, NJ that develops a SaaS (Software as a Service) based operational, store performance and loss prevention data analytics platform for the multi-unit retail and restaurant markets. Our products, including 20/20 Retail™, 20/20 Restaurant™, and 20/20 Rx™, offer a unique blend of business intelligence, predictive modeling, reporting and prescriptive work flow management functionality to our customers. Today, our solutions are deployed by 100+ leading national brands including Rite Aid, Spencer Gifts, Neiman Marcus and Panera Bread. But, enough about us, how about the job.


    You will be a member of the Data Integrations Team and working side-by-side in a collaborative environment to take us to the future. 

    We are working with cutting edge tools and technologies to reach our goal of an autonomous predictive solution that doesn’t require human interaction to identify issues.  Have you seen Minority Report?  Well, that’s where we are headed at Agilence.  And with Agilence, you’ll get the opportunity to participate and work with advanced data analytics.    


    We use a plethora of tools to develop our solution and to keep the user interface current.  You will get exposure to and develop in multiple tools including but not limited to:


    • C#
    • C++/CLI
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • And more!


    In addition, you will learn how to use supporting tools such as Subversion, Visual Studio, Target Process, and more.


    Do you already have experience with complex data integrations?  Are you fluent in .Net/C#?  Great!  You have a head start.  But, if not, check out the “Who You Are” section below.  If you fit that description then send us a resume and let’s talk.

    Who are you?


    This is where we typically put all the cookie cutter stuff like “self-motivated, go getter, etc.”.  But, at Agilence we find that to be so passé.  Here’s what we really need:


    • You were a great student. Nothing gets you ready for hard core programming like a fundamental understanding of the basics.
    • You’ve got some experience under your belt. You’ve been working full-time in development for at least 3 years and you’ve been working in a Microsoft shop. 
    • You love to code. Are you working on three different apps at night?  If so, then you are the person we want.
    • You have no fear. Embrace the unknown.  There are so many cool things to be accomplished. 
    • You are an explorer and risk taker. We can teach you what we do.  But, unless you have that thirst for knowledge, you won’t fit in.  We want people who see a new tool or technology and download it just because it looks cool. 
    • You aren’t afraid to fail. What? Edison said he found 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb before he made it work.  We are going to break a few eggs here and make some mistakes.  They are learning experiences and we embrace them.
    • You are not a slacker. We work fast and we still deliver high quality results.  This job is not for the timid.  We are going to teach you and we work as a team.  As part of that team, it’s all or nothing.  Either you succeed as a team or you don’t.   You won’t let them down.
