Agilence, Inc., an Arrowroot Capital Portfolio Company seeking an operationally minded, analytical and experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as a key member of the Executive team and as a business partner to the CEO. The successful incumbent is equally comfortable spanning strategy and execution and has scaled operations and finance, in a high-growth, SaaS based/recurring revenue models. The CFO will lead all finance, accounting, treasury, investor relations and business operations teams, providing strategic leadership and tactical execution.

• Serve as strategic partner to the CEO, the Board, and the Executive team.
• Oversee all financial and accounting functions; strategic planning and analysis; cash flow management; financial controls; audit; taxes, sales operations, information systems and legal.
• Navigate seamlessly between operating as an executive, front line manager and coach.
• Operate as a collaborative partner with the executive team in planning, refining, and implementing corporate growth strategies and policies.
• Lead all financial and reporting aspects of the business; be accountable for measurement-based financial management to ensure accurate planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in areas such as expense management, financial analysis and reporting, system infrastructure and standardizing business processes.
• Provide timely and accurate insight to the CEO, Board and other leaders.
• Lead business operations teams: including HR, Facilities and IT. 

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of increasing fiscal responsibility, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CFO and/or VP of Finance.
• Proven track record of success as the lead financial executive in a growth-oriented, recurring revenue software organization of similar size.
• Experience working with growth-stage businesses.
• Prior experience selecting and implementing financial software packages. 
• Demonstrated ability to interface with members of the Board on strategy and policy decisions.
• Proven ability to interpret strategic and operational business requirements, providing expert advice and financial planning counsel.
• Exceptional people leadership, with a proven track record of leading high performing teams
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting is required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA is a plus
• 5+ years in a SaaS enterprise environment
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
